Complex jigs and tools for the manufacture of the various shutter models and other products required a significant financial investment that represented a considerable burden for the still young company. It also proved necessary to take the sales organisation into their own hands. Alfred Gauthier therefore decided in 1910 to organise his company on a broader base by founding a limited liability company, while still maintaining his controlling influence.
The "Alfred Gauthier G.m.b.H." was founded with a nominal capital of 250,000 German marks.
