At the height of the 1950s, around 95% of the camera shutters were self-manufactured - starting from screws with a diameter of 0.7 mm up to complete housings.
PRONTOR today successfully employs this know-how in semiconductor lithography. Diaphragms for chip production today have to withstand 7 million cycles - without lubricant. We develop and manufacture diaphragms of this type with diameters up to 280 mm.

Apart from precision mechanics, lens processing machines were designed and manufactured for the first time in 1964.
