At the height of the 1950s, around 95% of the camera shutters were self-manufactured - starting from screws with a diameter of 0.7 mm up to complete housings.
PRONTOR today successfully employs this know-how in semiconductor lithography. Diaphragms for chip production today have to withstand 7 million cycles - without lubricant. We develop and manufacture diaphragms of this type with diameters up to 280 mm.
PRONTOR stands for over 100 years' experience in precision mechanics and successful adaptation to changing market conditions. That is what we aim to continue to do in the future.
Apart from precision mechanics, lens processing machines were designed and manufactured for the first time in 1964.
Today PRONTOR has vast know-how in the handling of optical modules, as well as in their assembling and adjustment.
